Natural chestnut honey, 500g

by Apicoltura Costenaro

Artisan made chestnut honey of an amber and dark red colour, almost brown, highly digestible and perfect for both children (over 1 year old) and adults.

Details: This natural honey is obtained from the flowers of wild chestnut plants that grow in the mountains.

Serving suggestions:

  • This honey perfectly suits mature cheeses (such as pecorino, caprino goat cheese) as well as fresh ones such as ricotta.
  • Due to its slightly bitter flavour caused by the tannins contained, chestnut honey can not be used as a sweetener.

Weight: 500g glass jar.
