Sgambato matured ham - 6.5kg

Sgambato ham, here sold in a 6.5kg vacuum-sealed pack, surely is one of the most flavoursome cold cuts. Thanks to the special curing method, this ham acquires a distinctive flavour. It shares the looks of traditional ham with bone and black pepper crust.

Details: Raw ham in particular is very rich in proteins (up to 28%), fat is concentrated around the meat and can easily be removed if you wish to. Lean raw ham only contains 3 to 4% fat and is easy to digest. Those who love this delicacy should bear in mind the high sodium content for 100g of ham include 70% of the suggested daily allowance.

Serving suggestions: This ham is delicious served on a slice of bread with a side of broad beans, ideally accompanied by a glass of good red wine at room temperature.

Ingredients: Pork meat (hind leg), salt, natural flavouring, nitrites and nitrates.

Shelf life: 24 months starting from the salting date indicated on the package.
